Most people in the world are followers of Christianity, while in India it is present in the third place. Jain Religion was also established in India and their number is in India only. In India, about 42.25 lakh people follow Jainism.

According to the 2011 census, there are about 14.80 crore Muslim religion believers in India. It is about 14.2 percent of the Indian population.
Islam is the second name in the Indian population after Hindus because the second largest population after Hindus is of Muslim people.
